Another CD was bought earlier. I finally got it to match my new MacBook Pro 2017. Connected Confoly - voila! Just like in the good old days when Apple thought people wanted internal CD drives and a wide range of ports. But, you know, thin, light, stylish looking.

Delivered in safe packaging, in a very nice case with instructions and USB adapter. I was happy to find this super drive with a new USBC cable for my new MacBook Pro PLUS and an adapter for my old computer. Lightweight, works great and is a great price with the included case (really good case!) and adapter. I will update here if I run into any issues but so far satisfied and very happy with the seller.

I bought this for my MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Very impressed with the packaging and the design. It has been packaged and looks like an Apple product which means it was made very well and with care. Space Gray matches the MacBook Pro perfectly. Plug it in and it just works. DVD and CD play without problems. We'll have to see how it holds up over the long term, but for $20 less than the Apple Superdrive, with and without a USC-B connector, it's worth it.

Good external super drive. It works, burns and plays DVDs on my 2017 MacBook Pro as well as an older Mid 2010 MBP (with USB-C to USB-A converter included) without any special drivers. I bought this as I was on a bus trip, left my DVD drive at home and need it to transfer photos from DVDs. I shoot on film and there is a great camera shop here in Savannah that still handles film! I received the Confoly USB-C Superdrive last night. This Superdrive is a hub to hub connection on my new MPB Thunderbolt 3 port. When I first plugged it in, I didn't see anything on my desktop or anywhere else on my Mac. When I inserted a CD, iTunes popped up with all the information about the CD.
