Great to increase safety with senior dog using stairs

I purchased these to increase the safety of my senior corgi going up and down stairs. After getting them in the right position on the stairs, they have worked well to increase his stability going up and down the stairs. They also vacuumed easily and the dog hair came off well. I needed to make sure that they were not too close to the edge of the stairs because going up the stairs he could get caught and the whole tread could move. This has not been a problem since I have moved the tread back…

Served us well for my opinion

I installed these on a hard wood staircase to assist an aging dog who was slipping. My husband kept asking me if they were going to ruin the stairs. I assured him, they were not. We had them on approximately 9 months and while they were starting to peel (the carpet from the backing), they served their purpose very well. I took them off today and their was no residue - you cannot tell they were even there. I would give them a 5 star rating, except for the fact that they were starting to wear and

Not just for stairs….

I ordered a cat villa for my cats and wanted to do some modifications to make it more cozy. I added treads to the shelves, hung a toy from an old wand and installed a scratching post from their old cat tree. I plan to add treads to the back wall. My cats love it!

LOVE THESE, stylishly keeps my doggy safe!

I ordered these several months ago to replace older rugs so my doggy would not slip down the stairs. I LOVE THESE! They were super easy to install and adhere so well to the steps, have not moved with sweeping or vacuuming the stairs and still look brand new. They are much better than the previous rugs I had which did not stick even with carpet tape. I have not washed them yet just vacuum cleaned so don't know how the adhesive will hold up afterwards but for now am VERY pleased with the rich…

Stair carpet - my new review

Easy install & beautiful color. My daughter wanted this for the stairs from the basement to the 1st floor. She is 4 weeks away from having her first child and she was concerned for their safety. After she installed the carpet, she felt the adhesive wasn't going to hold up well. She was convinced that after a few trips up and down, the carpet would move around. We convinced her to give it a try and they have worked absolutely beautiful.

Better than initially expected!

Upon first look, I wasn't loving these. They don't have a regular non slip tread, but an adhesive backing and I wasn't sure how it would work. I actually almost returned them! But I decided to give them a chance and put them down on my stairs. They have been so great (almost 2 months in) and they have stayed in place! I will definitely get these again.

Works very well good for me

Got these to help our 60 lb. dog who was slipping badly trying to get up our wooden stairs after tearing his cruciate. He would slip, get scared, and then fear made him rush the ascent more and he'd slip even more badly. Plus his nails were scraping the heck out of our stairs. Do not stick for long

Good material on top but after a few weeks won't stick, edges ride up on corners a trip hazard on my stairsI will have to buy carpet tape to hold these down properly and safely.

Pretty good! in my review

These are very easy to install and look pretty good. They stay in place well but do lift up on the sides a little. Maybe they’ll stay flat over time. So far so good. Now we won’t fall down our stairs! Got the tan ones so they’re more subtle looking on my pine stairs.

Stays in place with no glue.

I really like this product! I bought it so my blind dog can go down the stairs more easily and they really help. (They also help me as I’ve taken a tumble down these slippery stairs before). I really like these because I rent and was afraid of ruining the floor. The "adhesive” is more like a decal, there is no glue at all.
