Cool little machine!

Great product! I wasn't sure what to expect for the price but I'm definitely not disappointed! Easy to use and clean. The machine comes with plastic cones and a shovel. I bought the cotton candy and lollipops separately. This little machine makes delicious, fluffy cotton candy in minutes! I had never made cotton candy before and was a bit nervous. This was bought for a birthday party. The day before I decided to do a mock test. I was so surprised how easy it was. To make cotton candy I used…

Worth every penny, easy to use and easy to clean.

It's great and easy to use! It says heat for 10 minutes and then add a scoop - one scoop makes a very large adult or two baby cotton candy - a total time of about 3 minutes after heating. Turn it off, add more and do more. We received it last weekend (4th) because COVID canceled all plans for everyone. I probably did 25+ for the neighbors kids and even some adults and they loved it. Cleaning isn't difficult at all - removing the rotating part was difficult at first because we didn't know how…

Be patient for special equipment

I watched some YTBE videos so I was ready. The first one was flimsy, but after I got the hang of it, I got my cotton candy and tuned in, waited until I saw enough, then started spinning. When you see it stop intertwining, turn it off, put in another shovel, turn it on quickly, and continue. sugar and become crispy. So remember, scoop, turn, turn off immediately, scoop immediately, you can do this 3-4 times before the sugar burns off. and boil water in a kettle and after 5-10 pour sugar…

It works out! Just keep trying!

We've gotten another cotton candy from a toy store before and it jumped right out of the box! It got bad reviews anyway so I decided to return it and get this one and the cotton candy with a bag of Candy Express paper sticks. The first time we used it, we followed the directions by heating it for 15 minutes. then add a scoop of sugar. Little bits of cotton candy came out. The kids loved it but thought we were full of sticks. The second time we used it, I let the car warm up for about 45…

Great for family use.

Works great with sugar thread. I haven't tried it with caramel yet, it will definitely take longer with caramel. PROS: Easy to use, fairly easy to clean. CONS: A scoop of powdered sugar only makes a small cone of waffles. The directions say to only use 1 scoop at a time. It takes time to make cones for multiple kids. Definitely not for mass production. The kids have most likely already eaten theirs and will be asking for more before eating the next waffle. TIPS: I've learned that if you lift…

Delicious, fun, easy to use but no cotton candy.

Ordered two so every grandchild has one. It seemed a little overwhelming when looking at the instructions, but once we put everything together and got the hang of it, we have the ball. It's better than buying a bag of cotton candy at the store. The difference between ready and fresh is hard to beat. One of the secrets to success is to let it warm up like the instructions say. A 15 minute preheat will yield even better results than the recommended 10. Even if you're going straight from cone to…

Don't listen to negative reviews!

I didn't buy this because of all the negative reviews but I'm glad I did anyway. First of all, this is not a carnival machine for making cotton candy. If that's what you're looking for - buy one for a few hundred dollars! The big error problem is operator error. If you try to stick the wand vertically in the car and roll it around the heating element like the guy at the carnival/carnival/circus does, you'll burn your candy, you won't get much and you'll be disappointed. The key is to hold the…
