I have on-ear Bluetooth and USB headsets with mics, and while the sound quality is great, I often find myself in noisy, busy environments and don't like using extension mics (looks overkill in a coffee shop setup). I even sometimes use it in my Macbook Pro where theoretically it shouldn't be needed as there is already a standard 4 pin input . Skype on Mac may not always automatically select the correct audio device, especially if another application is already open that needs access to the audio device, such as Microsoft Windows. e.g. FaceTime. All I have to do is connect NRG and Skype immediately switches to it. Crystal clear audio in both directions based on the feedback received. Same behavior on Linux
