Not for all day good for me

This gun works great but it is a beast. If I still framed for a living I would buy a lighter one. A good value and would work fine for ground work, but would wear you out on rafters.

Pros
  • Good tool. It balks now and then, but for a DIYer its a good value.
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance and cleaning to avoid clogging and malfunctioning, which can be a time-consuming task

Up and running good for me

I'm not a contractor so didn't want to spend a ton of money on a tool that I may only use a handful of times. This gun fit the bill and ordering the nails with it had me up and running within 5 min after unboxing. Seems to perform well and no jams first day of use. Will update if something changes, but in all a 5 star product.

Pros
  • Nailers & Staplers
Cons
  • The heavy weight of the tool can lead to arm and wrist fatigue after extended use, making it difficult to achieve precision

Nice especially for the money!

Easy to use. It makes framing my basement easy! My only complaint is that toenailing is not as easy with this model. Usually I end up with 1/8 inch protruding from the wood. I just used a hammer to knock the heads in all the way. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Includes 21 degree 3" framing nails (500 count)
Cons
  • The use of specific, standardized nails means that this tool may not be compatible with a variety of nail types or sizes, limiting its versatility and usefulness

For the price it was a good buy.

I probably could have found a lighter weight air nailer, but not for the money. The only other complaint I have is that it doesn't seem to want to shoot the last few nails. Sometimes it works when you put in more nails, but not always. Which is a little wasteful and a little annoying.

Pros
  • Designed for jobs such as framing, truss assembly, sheathing, subfloors, deck work, fencing, pallets, crates, and assembling furniture
Cons
  • Loud pneumatic noise during use can be deemed disruptive to surrounding people and animals

So darn so good for my opinion

I’ve ran about 300 nails through the nailer so far. No jams or short drives yet. I’ve got another 2500 or so nails on the current project and will update the review when I’ve used it more.

Pros
  • Nice quality
Cons
  • May cause damage or splintering to fragile or delicate wood surfaces due to the force of the pneumatic nailer
