Description of ๐Ÿ’จ 240V Air Compressor Pressure Switch Control Valve with Adjustable Range of 90-120 PSI

This is a great switch for miniative air compressor. It can help to save electric energy of the air compressor. Easy to install and convenient to use. There is a red ON/OFF switch knob.

This is for Harbor Freight Tools Air Compressor.

My HFT air compressor started leaking a while ago. It got to the point where there was not enough air in the tank to fill a bike tire. When I looked for the leak I found that it was due to a faulty rubber diaphragm on the power switch box. I called the HFT parts department and they told me that not only do they sell the membrane, I need to buy the entire switch assembly. The funny thing is that HFT didn't sell this part. I was given a link to the Revain part. Strange. By the way, I had aโ€ฆ

125 psi and it won't clip! Creepy, right?

First of all, it flows through the seal. I installed it and turned it on to 40psi, turned it off and it leaked. Spraying with soapy water can reveal leaky seals. I have to remove it and tighten the four small screws and reinstall. There are no more leaks. Then the power was still on at 125 psi. It was scary. So I set the screw to the minimum and cycled the air on and off many times to set the cut off at 115psi. My old switch is the same and I took it apart to see what went wrong. It was a sealโ€ฆ

I sent it back, there were problems immediately, I tried anyway - no luck

The goods were sent to me fairly quickly, maybe I received the confused one, but immediately when I opened it. one of the threaded ones (inlet?) was damaged, looked like someone had already installed it. It was the end I had yet to hook up to my air compressor as he has 3 of them. I tried plugging it with yellow teflon tape and a fitting fitting but it was still leaking like crazy. The electrical connection was unreliable, my air compressor stopped for a split second and turned on immediatelyโ€ฆ

Fits Harbor Freight BSP Threaded Compressors

If you have a Harbor Freight air compressor (like my 2hp 8 gallon Mdl 95386) this is probably the switch you need. I was frustrated with the Harbor Freight parts department after getting the wrong part three times when trying to get a replacement check valve. Their failed attempts caused me to look elsewhere. Importantly, many Harbor Freight Air Compressors use fittings with British Standard Pipe (BSP) threads rather than NPT (American) threads. They are often displayed as "G1/4", "G1/2" orโ€ฆ

Garbage Pos. Don't waste your time!

This is bullshit! I wondered how they could do it so cheaply. Answer: They cannot. After reading the negative reviews, due to the price I decided to take a chance and give it a try. Other reviews mentioned leaky seals, poorly cut threads, etc. I removed the base and tried rethreading it. Due to the casting process, the cast is too porous and you can only cut the first few strands. Okay, I moved on to the gasket and replaced the Phillips head screws with hex head screws, which are easy toโ€ฆ
