Description of Observe

Observe is a SaaS Observability product which enables IT professionals to investigate modern distributed applications 10X faster. Traditional approaches focus on fragmented tooling and fragile dashboards which causes the need for many tools, lots of people and exploding costs. At Observe, we believe that the core of the challenge lies in the management of the data itself and how it relates to the other data that is in constant change around it. Solve the data problem and Observability becomes much easier, it is 10X faster and is significantly less expensive. So we built a data management solution, not just another monitoring tool. Observe ingests anything with a timestamp - logs, metrics, traces - and then structures that data to provide unique insights such as inventories of containers, pods, EC2 instances, S3 buckets etc. as well as the relationships between them. This enables engineers to troubleshoot issues top down instead of immediately diving into logs and searching. Observe also keeps track of the state of the application and infrastructure over time which is critical for investigating today’s modern ephemeral systems. Finally, because of Observe’s unique architecture, it is priced based on usage, making it lower cost than incumbents.

Observify makes your life easier: Observe

The best part about observe is its simplicity. It has all what you want from an observability platform - easy deployment with zero configuration, simple dashboard design, no additional dependencies or services required. Some features are missing like alerting integration. I am using this as my observability stack at work place and have been very happy so far. I can see every line of code executed by our application and everything related to it. This gives me peace of mind when working remotely…

Pros
  • Everything that's needed for basic monitoring needs.
  • Easy installation
  • Dashboard templates available out there too!
Cons
  • Alerts not integrated into dashboards
  • No alerts if host goes down

Great product for monitoring servers remotely

The best thing about this service is its ease-of use. It's very intuitive and allows you to monitor your infrastructure with minimal effort and without having any prior knowledge or experience required. I think there are some features missing but nothing drastic - mostly things like alerts/notifications when something goes wrong (e.g., disk space low). Also would love more granular controls over what metrics can be monitored by an alert. If you're looking into observability solutions then…

Pros
  • It's easy to get the metrics you're looking at and all the metrics are easy to see at once
Cons
  • It's very easy to get the

Observum is great for monitoring and troubleshooting web applications

The dashboard has been very helpful when trying to understand what our application does at any given moment as well where issues are occurring within my codebase or with external dependencies (e2ee).It's easy enought be used by non-technical users without them needing extensive training! There isn't anything I dislike about this software so far - everything works perfectly!! We use observium mainly because its free but also makes sense from an ROI perspective since all features work out of box…

Pros
  • Free
  • Dashboard is visually appealing & intuitive for new engineers who want insight into their applications performance.
  • Easy setup, no need configure plugins in advance
Cons
  • Zero

We used observe to help us identify issues with an existing application. It helped us see why certain components weren't working correctly. This was invaluable for finding root cause issues. We had a specific use case for which observe could not be used. But we found that we could use it in a different way. We still ended up using observe as a diagnostic tool to see if our processes were correct and to determine what else we should be doing. It helped us see trends and relationships in real…

Pros
  • You do not have to learn any new languages to interact with your data
  • It is easy to customize and extend.
Cons
  • Not much documentation on how to configure observe.
