Decent and good price but a bit scratchy.

It's a bit scratchy but I've never used anything else so I don't know how natural they are. I can say that it should probably be a little thicker (thicker?). Otherwise I'm keeping it as it's my first and I won't pay much for a natural shave until I learn the shaving cadence and routine. Then I'll feel better. Or not. It's just a shave, and it's something I *should* do, not something I *would like* to do.

Pros
  • Easy to clean
Cons
  • Safety

A-okay Beauty and Personal Care

Overall a great brush and just what I was looking for (a bit softer than my boar brush) but there are a few things to know: This brush is VERY soft, almost soft when wet. Not suitable for foaming hard soaps. I use it for my Proraso shaving soap in a green bowl. May work well for lathering creams or lathering skin, but haven't tried it yet. Feels good on the skin. Fits most brush holders. The handle looks cool too, but I was surprised that the handle is hollow rather than solid. It doesn't…

Pros
  • Non-toxic synthetic nylon bristles with clear blue plastic handle
Cons
  • Weight

No smell or shedding

I have tried several badger hair brushes and they all had the same problem. Hot water means they smell awful (exactly what I'd expect from a badger) and my hair kept falling out. However, with this synthetic material, there's no smell at all, and I haven't lost (or realized I've lost) a single bristle. I'd say it's a bit stiffer and rougher than a badger hair brush, but I prefer it so I can really rub in the shaving cream. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Suitable for animals and vegans
Cons
  • Expensive

Works pretty well best on men

grams old). I think it must be around 50 years old. A bit bare but works fine. This was my introduction to shaving brushes. I decided to try an inexpensive synthetic brush and this was my choice. In this case, it was better to get the lowest price and only pay shipping. It was cheaper than Amazon's so-called "free" version. It arrived in good condition, on time, well packaged, safe and sound. My first impression was that it was a bit smaller than I expected. It is lightweight, sterilized…

Pros
  • made in Italy
Cons
  • poorly thought out
