About 3 years have passed. I use it all the time in my woodworking workshop. Never had a problem with it. Works smoothly, zeros and holds zero. I've noticed that the zero shifts a little from time to time, let's say half the arrow width. I read in the company description above that the accuracy is +/- 0.001.
