same as my old ones

They appear almost identical to my old ones which I've worn through over the years except the new ones have an 'OR' embroidered on top the gaiter, silly weight gain causing water to seep through the waterproof fabric. Overall these are by far the best gaiters I have ever used. I wear these XL gaiters with leather telemark boots and size 15 hiking boots and they fit. I also have XXL Crocs to use over large plastic boots, but they are heavier and much larger.

These are the ones you were looking for

My second pair after losing one on a camping trip. Oops. But it's great! Same shape as the heavier Expedition Crocs I own, but slimmer fit and thinner (lighter/smaller) material for less demanding use. Size X-Large fits my size 13 leather boots. Many years ago I received advice from the operating room not to cut the straps: thread them through the tubular strap that you replace every few trips. Makes them last forever unless you tear them up with cats or throw them out of your backpack!

They seem really well made. They are super comfy.

So far so good with these leggings. They seem really well made. They are super comfy. I kind of forgot I had them. The size. I wear size 13 Asolo boots. The fit was very large. They fit snugly and snugly on the bottom of the boot and barely fit over the top of my boot. I have large calf muscles and the gaiters are a little loose in that area, but I don't mind. If you have narrow legs and a large foot, you may have trouble finding the right fit. Maybe I misunderstood how they should fit…

Poor customer support

I love the socks but one of them had a bad seam that ripped on the second wear. I submitted a warranty claim to Outdoor Research on December 12th and received an email response on January 6th. They told me they could give me online credit but I would have to pay the postage to send it and then it would take another 4 weeks to process the return. Once that happens, I will THEN get online credit so I can buy another pair and then pay for shipping. I appreciate the online credit offer but the fact

I love outdoor exploration, don't get me wrong. Unfortunately.

My wife has these big blue ones and she loves them and they have served her well for years! I took the XL because my calves are bigger. And I'm glad I have the XL, they fit this range very well, unfortunately due to the larger size, the front boot clip is outdated. It cannot be used with any of my boots, even with the built in gaiter clip. My boot is too big and I wear a men's American 10.5. I would return them if I didn't need them to climb Mount Fuji this week. These gaiters protected my…

They also fit large sizes!: Leg Warmers

These leg warmers are made of high quality materials (made in China) and look like they should last for years. However, the sizer is lame. I wear a US size 11.5 and the chart says I need XL. My 11.5 fits right in the middle of the 10-13 range, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get them to fit snugly in my boots. Also, the top part of the gaiters was so big that I had a hard time pulling them tightly over my calf. When I spoke to the support in the OR they told me that size L (8-11) would…

They work great. The calf measurement area can help determine the size.

I bought these for snowshoeing. You never know when you might want to ditch your tough pack, so it's nice to know your boots won't get snowed in. I once went snowshoeing without gaiters and it wasn't much fun. They kept all the junk and held up well. If there's one thing that worries me, it's how long the bottom strap lasts. However, after driving them about fifteen miles I haven't noticed any change in their condition - they still look great. Sizing wise I bought a medium pair and found they…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Fits

I originally bought the Large after looking at the measuring instructions on the website which were actually useless. Swapped for medium and they fit perfectly. I bought them for snowshoeing, mountain bird hunting, light mountaineering and hiking muddy trails. They protect your boots incredibly well from rocks, sand and snow. I've punched holes up to my thigh multiple times and have never been able to get snow in my leggings. They work very well and don't seem to leak or overheat. Adjusting the
