Description of 🔄 OUYANG Stepper Motor 130MN M-Bracket 17HS4023

【High Torque】Torque: 130mN.m, using high-quality motor steel material, low self-inductance and rapid response, which can avoid system errors. 【Low Resistance】Nema 17 stepper motor has a lower resistance value and lower motor temperature rise. 【Low Noise】The surface of the silicon steel rotor of the nema 17 stepper motor is coated with imported rotor glue to prevent silicon steel from oxidation and reduce surface burrs after grinding, resulting in a more stable output, lower noise and longer life. 【Use】Widely used in 3D printers, stage lighting, laser engraving, textile machinery, medical equipment, automation equipment and other fields. 【Service】If you have any questions about our nema 17 stepper motor, please feel free to contact us.

Works great with BMG extruder on Ender 3

Got this for use with Trianglelab BMG clone on Ender 3. BMG has a 3:1 gear ratio so it doesn't require as much torque as a standard extruder. This pancake stepper is much lighter than the standard stepper and has enough power to power a BMG and runs cool. Also, the reverse power is the same as the power on the BMG, so there is no need to swap out cables or firmware. Fast delivery, has everything you need. Very happy. EDIT - three months later I just got a second one for my second printer. Again

Pros
  • Use
Cons
  • Expensive

Too weak for the extruder

Decided to take a bigger/heavier 1.5 amp stepper out of the extruder assembly and replace it with a 1 amp stepper like mine Pancake Stepper. They're a little lighter. The experience was rather disappointing. Although they rate the stepper at a peak of 1A (I thought that was enough), it wears out very quickly. It just can't pull the filament (direct drive). I set it to max 650mA RMS. e.g. 1000mA / 1.414 = 707mA (my 1.5A peak stepper is built the same way). It's amazing to see that the flow…

Good steppers for printers/lasers/lightweight CNCs.

These appear to be well made motors. They conform to standard NEMA17 stepper motor sizes. They come with a 1m cable, a plastic mount and a pouch with hardware. The cable is light. Its resistance is 30 gauge, so you won't be pushing more than 800mA through it. The holder is made of plastic. Make it easy Also means you will melt it if you push those stepper motors too hard. The hardware mounts the motor to the bracket and possibly the bracket to your printer/laser/CNC. The motors I received were…
