Bubbles only come out near the stem. NO MONEY! AVOID!

I. Don't tell me my pump isn't strong enough! I use a NEW TETRA LUFT pump with adjustable dial, the most powerful pump on the market. 7.25psi! Also note that there are no "tiny bubbles" as advertised.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Not the best

Not worth it - air pump accessories

First time I bought this and the bubbles only came from the very top next to the tube so I bought a 4 watt bubbler and asked them to send me another air stone and it has the same problem. I really want to like it but I can't

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • The list is long.

Best Aerostone I've ever bought

The tip - about 1.5 inches - bubbled a lot along the pipe, not much along the bottom edge, but that's enough for me. Very stable. Update: Blisters come from a larger area after about a week. It almost creates ripples on the surface.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No

I love the pattern they make with bubbles.

Use 4 of these with the 32W VIVOSUN air pump. Really makes my 5 gallon DWC buckets boil. I love the pattern they create by popping the bubbles to the side and just getting nice full coverage. They are strong and heavy enough not to float.

Pros
  • Hard wearing surface
Cons
  • Safety

Better than cylinder bricks

I like them because they stay in place and seem to have the best bladder pattern for my DWC hydraulic system. I haven't used them long enough to comment on durability or lifespan, but so far they have worked well with both my more powerful hydro air pump and my regular air pump. Specialist. These are not "sucks".

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • No instructions

Blunt box for fish and aquatic animals

The way these sets are packaged looks impressively silly. You stack them on top of each other. This meant mine arrived with the metal entrance of one stone built into the base of another. Obviously hollow domes don't work with a giant hole in them. Now that I am packing late I will definitely avoid this manufacturer in the future. I only gave them two stars because they can actually work quite well, but I'll never know.

Pros
  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Works great - just make sure you have a strong enough pump!

This suction cup squeezes out ALL KINDS of air, including the very small bubbles we need! For people who complain about "not enough bladders," it's simple - your pump is either old or not powerful enough. This baby is 4 inches wide. It takes some strength to walk. I hooked mine up to a 60 gallon Tetra Whisper air pump. Went like clockwork. Now the air just flows out of this thing! Tetra Whisper Air Pump, 60 to 100 Gallon Aquariums

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Functionality

No more air stones, but these bells.

The instructions tell you to replace every few months, but I use a stiff bell brush dipped in white vinegar and Dawn soap and I place it in a saucepan of water, bring the water temperature to near boiling and let it cool. . This will kill any bacteria and squeeze out the sludge. I take a bucket about 4 inches deep with clean water, place the bells in the water and connect an air hose to squeeze the air out of any residue left and to make sure no soap gets into the bell. I haven't had to change…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
