Disappointment - Industrial Equipment

I bought three boxes of these Peggies for two different sized hooks. First, they only fit 1/4" holes, not 1/8" holes. Second, they only allow 1/8" hooks to be inserted into 1/4" holes. That said, hooks 1/4" and will no longer fit in a 1/4" Pegitz placed in 1/4" railing holes. 1/4" hole for perforated board. Buy these instead: Lehigh Group-Crawford 18025 Peg Locks, they work really well. Good idea, just doesn't work.

Fit 1/8 " Hook to 1/4 " Hole Panels

Fits 1/8" Hole Panel Hook to 1/4" Hole Panel Holes. They do a great job of reducing the loosening of 1/8" hooks when used in a 1/4" pegboard and reduce the tendency for hooks to fall out of the pegboard when, for example, the tool is off hook is removed, considerably . I could use a huge obsolete collection of 1/8 hooks in a new 1/4 board. They're a little tight. To the point where I was concerned that the perforated panel might tear when I hung it. Pretty expensive for what they are (somewhat…

Ridiculous design!: hole plate hook

It's incredibly tedious and time consuming and then you don't want to move them because if you take them off they become useless. After the first few fingers my fingers were numb and it took me about half an hour to fit maybe 6 or 8 inches and I'll admit it could hold some of the really sloppy pens but as most of you know, those will Things Might Not Be Moved For some just as much as others, but I enjoy moving things around the original full garage wall installation and don't know if I'll live…

They work well but require more effort and money than expected

They work and work well and for that I give them 5 stars but they are not easy to use, require more than the instructions say, and you need additional tools and creativity to insert them. 1) They don't go into the hole easily. It takes time and a lot of force to insert, plus you have to partially insert a hook to keep them from collapsing, and a screwdriver, flat hole punch or whatever to push them into the perforated plate hardly goes fingers 2) They don't just work at the top curve of the…

THESE WORKS! for hook

Fantastic product. I never saw them until I researched Swirl Hooks at Revain. I bought two packs to test and I really liked them. We have a pegboard in our kitchen pantry with metal shelves on one side. On the other hand, we hang various kitchen pots, pans, baskets, etc. Ordinary pen hooks kept pulling out, even with horizontal plastic clips. I almost decided to remove the entire perforated plate and replace it with a newer perforated metal plate that uses a stiffer hook locking system, but…

Indispensable if your Noggin

It feels like I could carve my own solid marble perforated slab in the time it took me to find an acceptable solution, and they were indispensable in the process. But the caveat is that I use them as part of a three-step approach. Use thick (important!) metal single pins in the form of double pins.2. Use two of these locks on the hanger3. Use the latch on the bottom bar. (See photo for better understanding) Overkill? Of course. Call me Mr Overkill. Better than Mr. Underkill off the street…

  • Boring Packaging

I bought these hoping they would be an easy way to attach my 1/4" hooks to my 1/4" to attach perforated plate, but they disappointed me a lot. use. After assembly, the hook was difficult to insert into the perforated plate. I think I'll use clips again: they've worked quite well, although they're usually disposable (easy to insert, break trying to remove). I'll keep experimenting with Pegitz and post any updates as I find a better way to use them. UPDATE 9/24/2021: I tried using plastic clips…

Moderately effective

Not as effective as I was hoping. The concept is sound as it tries to solve the problem that standard pegboard hooks fall out so easily and while this problem is better than not using an anchor at all, they're not a particularly elegant solution. Basically they just create a slightly smaller hole for hooks to insert through while adding extra friction in the form of a rubber bushing around the hook shank. Once inserted, the hooks no longer stick to the perforated plate. This is because the…
