I read how bad they are but I was hoping we could make it. We had two adults working together and it took several hours. I installed a dog door on my own in another house and it was easy. This insert is the worst. I recommend putting tape around the entire perimeter to keep it from falling apart.

Great doors. This wall set is not so good. They consist of 6 parts that fit together. Most walls are 2x4 framed, but these wall kits are designed for 2x6 wall frame thickness. For a 2x4 stud wall you will need to cut 1 inch from both sides of each piece along the marked line.
