I bought this item for my son and his family for Christmas. When he opened it, he wasn't really thrilled. But since then it has saved its butt many times. One day a church member was in desperate need of a jump start. Little did I know my jumper wires were defective. They didn't work because I didn't notice that the wires on one clip had come apart. Very embarrassing. With this new set I now have great cables along with many other emergency goodies for my car.

I hoped this was a gift you would never need. But when my friend's car battery died, guess who had a fancy jumper cable and flashlight to help him out? You guessed it. He has this kit. It also comes in handy when an earthquake or other disaster is a possibility. There is a lot about this kit that is extremely helpful. I would recommend!

I bought this because I didn't have anything in my car to help me in an emergency. It just arrived so I haven't used it. I think the idea of the emergency kit is great. Upon opening it I noticed that there are a few items that seem cheap, like a small screwdriver and a tire pressure gauge, but I have a feeling they could still be used in an emergency.
