This is one of the best oil resistant sealants on the market. Most auto parts stores have a hard time maintaining inventory. For the price and the fact that it's two packs at this price. You won't get a better deal anywhere else.

Permatex Ultra Black. This is an original product, not a fake, you can find it here easily. Permatex products are in my opinion the best sealer/gasket manufacturers out there over the years, just make sure you are using the right product for the job.

This is an amazing product. I use it a lot more for gluing and fixing things than for making gaskets. I just used it to glue the soles back to my wife's favorite boots and now they're fine again. It also makes good pads. Unlike other RTVs that turn into a soft rubber material, this material turns into a much stiffer and stronger material with some shear strength.

So having restored my 1999 Ford 7.3L Diesel I am pleased with its anti-leak properties. I had an issue where it was leaking, but after running %^&*() to fix the part, the leak was "clean" so I'm guessing I'm leaving a greasy fingerprint or something have. CLEAN and rubbing alcohol on work surfaces. I have no oil leaks and am completely satisfied with the black color. I've also been told that the "great stuff" versions are better.
