I was tired of working hunched over trying to see my laptop's small screen, so I bought one (used, not the newest model, so a bit cheaper). What a treat. It's sharp, bright and big. The adjustable height allows me to finally sit upright (at my 6ft 4in height) at my desk and work. Note that there are no speakers (it has a connector for them that works if you use an HDMI cable). ) This is not a problem for me as I already have others that I have connected. I do not use this monitor for gaming. But he's probably perfect for it. I'm a REALTOR and I always have multiple documents and web browser tabs open at once. So I need a wide monitor so the documents I'm working on are visible and accessible. With this Philips monitor I can open 3 windows side by side on my computer screen (documents or web browser etc.) and open a 4th window. This is the perfect setup for me.

I have no issues with this monitor, it has many different screen modes to choose from and the picture quality is very good.
