Best thing that happened to Cat 6

I wish I could give this one 100 stars! What a life saver! If anyone has worked with CAT 6 you know how awful some of those other connectors on the market are. I used to buy connectors with tiny inserts to separate the strands. For the rest of my life I couldn't get 100% good connections. I got maybe 1 out of 5. Long story short, I threw everything in the trash. Luckily I found these guys and they talk day and night. I haven't bought any other tools, just this and my small pair of scissors that

PlatinumComponent Vendor: Total Bullshit

To be clear, these connectors tend to oscillate. I just got into this 100 pack and they are rubbish. This came up when I was looking for EZ connectors, but I tell you they are cheap fakes. Individual strands usually run fairly smoothly, maybe 1 or 2 out of 20 connectors will have a wire that likes to float. small. This is easily solved with attention. Two of the 8 connectors I just made had a wire that didn't go through until I plugged the other in from the end to clean it. More serious…

This review was written by a beginner who decided to try his hand at making connection cables. I'm going to buy patch cords from a mass manufacturer and here's why. I've been able to make several compatible cables with these "EZ" connectors. But if you don't have much free time, this activity is a waste of time.
