I really like this vacuum sealer. I have tested vacuum sealers extensively and in this price range this machine stood out. I'm so glad I bought this. I've used this machine for about 10 hours each day for 3 consecutive days to pack 60 meals for my daughter who travels the Continental Divide Trail. This vacuum sealer worked without any problems. Only hard foods with sharp edges, like some pasta (e.g. rigatoni, spaghetti), can have problems with vacuum packaging (which the company warns consumers
