Disappointing Performance of Heavy Anchor

My analysis of this product showed that it failed to provide a reliable hold for the intended weight. While the anchor's plated carbon and knurled design may suggest durability, it fell short when put to the test. The only advantage I can give this product is its sleek appearance. However, looks can certainly be deceiving in this case. Overall, I would not recommend this heavy anchor for anyone who needs reliable support for their valuable items.

Pros
  • Elegant appearance and high-end feel due to premium plating and carbon construction.
Cons
  • The knurled texture may be uncomfortable for some users who prefer a smoother grip.

Work great! in Anchors

I bought these because they have a knurled body to grip and hold the insert in concrete. I had issues with the smooth sides not snapping and rotating after installing the insert.

Pros
  • For use with 1/2-13 Bolt
Cons
  • Pleated

For the first time with an anchor. Impressive holding power.

This is my first time using a drop anchor. I drilled a 2.25 inch deep hole in the foundation of my house with a hammer drill, put one in and installed it with an installation tool. I screwed in an eyebolt and then screwed a couple of 12ft thujas straight in with a ratchet strap. I managed to hook 3 trees with one anchor. Impressive power, I thought.

Pros
  • Zinc Plated CR+3 RoHS Compliant
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes
