Description of ๐Ÿ“ฆ SP 9702 Compression by Prime Line Products

For use in a variety of applications; appliances, automotive, marine, toys, tools, mechanical devices, contraptions and more. Compression springs are designed with flat end coils and feature strong spring rates. Spring dimensions: 3/8 in. outside diameter, 3/4 in. length, 0.032 in. wire diameter, 4.47 lbs. maximum safe load, 0.23 in. maximum deflection. All springs come in a beautiful, corrosion resistant, nickel plated finish allowing them to be used both indoors and out. Constructed of durable spring steel (tempered steel wire) to provide optimum expansion when compressed.

Unreliable and Overpriced

This spring from Prime Line Products was a major letdown for our industrial and scientific team. Using this product, our team found that the compression was inconsistent and often failed to hold up under standard workloads. The biggest drawback? The high price tag that simply didn't match the poor quality. One pro was the fairly easy installation process. But overall, we do not recommend this product for power transmission needs.

That's a spring

It bounces. I checked the right dimensions with a measuring tool and checked everything. I only needed one to replace a rusted spring. So I have a spare part lying around somewhere at home. Maybe I can find out what to do with it. The packaging was strong and secure.

Great Springs - High Quality, Many Springs, Competitive Price

These little universal springs are made of stainless steel, have many "springs" which are compression springs and have hundreds of uses around the home and garage. I used mine to create friction on the UDS smoker air intake flap by putting it on a pivot bolt with washers. Works like a champ and allows me to make the tiniest adjustments to airflow without worrying about the settings slipping. The items were very reasonably priced, arrived on time and were exactly what I was looking for. Veryโ€ฆ
