Type of review

I hooked this up to a 24vdc motor, two of which have failed. The first time I landed dry, the motor started to work. I added a small wooden wheel to the motor shaft (it was a 1/4" plywood wheel cut into a 12" diameter circle, it weighed a little. As soon as I turned it on the power light went out and never came back. I order a replacement and send a refund and as soon as I plug in the original the power light goes out and the second dies again I am very disappointed in the product Save time and

Agreed, bad reviews most likely self-destructed

Error loading media. This source works fine on my mini machine. My mini lathe controller has bitten the dust. Repairing a known problem controller costs me about $75 plus shipping both ways. Instead I bought it for $24 and it is rated for 90 volts DC at 400 watts. The same as the brushed motor on my mini lathe. This power supply is fully enclosed and fits into a 2" wide x 3/1/4" tall x 3 1/2" tall case. When I first plugged it into a power source, it was outputting a maximum of 60 volts DC…

The bad reviews were most likely self destructive

I've searched everywhere for a replacement control board for my port freight mini lathe but to no avail. I had to take it to the shop with no warranty. At first I didn't buy it because I figured that for a little over $20 it wouldn't work in any way. I finally came back and realized what the heck $20 is. Worth every penny! I tried to burn it right after plugging it in. I figured I'd try harder than ever and see if it held up. I turned the lathe on and off, high speed, low speed, back and forth,
