I was surprised to find a hole in the ground! I was expecting a normal plug input. I'm a physicist but I won't try to connect it according to their technical diagrams as I'm not an electrician. I can't return it because I waited too long. Spring.

It worked great for about 6 years then I started getting the infamous E2 error when setting certain temps. It still works, but you cannot set specific temperatures due to memory corruption. I agree that the electronics are failing, but the manufacturer says they should be replaced and doesn't provide a way to replace a failed memory chip.

My husband really liked the speed of delivery, but the quality of the control was worse. It will be returned. It's not because my husband doesn't know how to install them as this is his 3rd stove since we got our outdoor wood stove almost 20 years ago.
