Very easy installation. The store wanted me to replace the starter alternator for almost $300. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to disassemble, clean, replace the brushes and reassemble the unit. Works perfect

Product arrived quickly and fits my 1989 Yamaha G2 starter perfectly. Removing the starter is perhaps the most difficult part. Dismantling the starter is easy, and then I blew the dust and sanded the manifold. The starter works like new again.

I found removing and reinstalling the starter/alternator from the club car more difficult than disassembling, cleaning and installing new brushes. For the price they were a very good deal. I just wish I could get them quicker.

Be careful when disassembling, remove dust and dirt and pay attention to how the short tube, especially the exposed copper part, fits into the body without the brush sticking.
