This is a lot of fun! There is an app you can download on your tablet or phone that will help you create tracks. I use this all the time. I created an infinity track. That means it repeats and repeats, and the only time it stops is if you interrupt it. Have fun

is a good upgrade. But as the video shows, the track is sometimes unstable. The instability is caused by the fact that there are plastic parts that are very light. One of my comments: the base is made of cardboard, and the rest of the parts are made of very light plastic, which sometimes makes the structure unstable. But overall, Gravitarax fans are a good addition. But . What counts is the quality offered and the price paid.

All parts are plastic and very unstable I thought $50 would get you a quality gift you need to be careful and have precision to set it up would be that Worth money if The roller guides were metal and the parts fit together better, in the photos they look strong and sturdy, like metal, it's all plastic which makes assembly difficult, a little knock and it all falls apart, annoying, 10-20- 30 -40-50 $$$$$ etc for crap that looks cool but sucks, when you get it it will eventually lead to a decline

My 10 year old loves Gravitrax and has a starter kit plus an extra. He even wants to spend his own money on expansion kits. I bought him this for Christmas. Was VERY disappointed when it arrived WITHOUT PACKAGING so you could see it was on the porch. It had a transparent case. Therefore 3 instead of 5 stars. I installed it as a starting point for my Trax system. The balls pass through several switches before returning to the launcher base. This allows me to easily throw multiple balls into the system at once and watch them zip through the lane configuration. Because all the balls are returned to base, it's easy to restart them again (and again). Pressing the button will raise the ball stack and another ball will start moving along the lane. This is good for lanes with elements that don't need to be dropped, allowing multiple balls to be on the lane at once. There are 3 stackable lift tubes, so the ball lift height is a little adjustable. You can rotate the output but not the input, giving you a button that's awkward to press. It's a great addition to the set though, it works well, it's reliable and there's little that can replace it. I

My 8 year old daughter loved playing with an old plastic marble toy we bought from Toys 'R Us years before she was born and when I did Gravitrax thought it seemed such a logical upgrade to their old favourite. The combinations you can create are almost endless, and the extras (a bit overpriced at times, but there are no unbranded compatible versions) like the "lifter" and magnetic launcher really work as long as you follow the instructions.
