🍝 Authentic Ravioli Mold - Make 12 Italian Raviolis at Once with Extra Large 1 3/4" Squares Review

I was hoping this would speed up the ravioli but it doesn't. I couldn't use it the way I wanted. This should work fine for some people, but mine just got stuck and didn't work as well as they should.

When I saw this I couldn't help but try it. I use a Kitchen Aid nozzle and it's barely wide enough to cover a tray. However, the problem with the tray isn't so much its width as there is nothing to help you cut the ravioli after you put the top sheet of pasta on top. If you have an old-style reel, it's much better than this toy.

I found it too slow and tedious to use. It took a long time to prepare a decent portion. It's much easier to just spread out a strip of dough, put the filling on top with a spoon, fold and cut. Cutting the pasta in this device wasn't easy - you have to do it over and over again until it even comes close. The end product was ok but too much work to get there.

The ravioli mold is a fantastic addition to my pasta roller. I was delighted to receive this large cross section pasta shape so I can make my own ravioli. I can use my KitchenAid to make the dough and roll it to the right size, then use the cutter to shape the ravioli. We prepared four different types of ravioli and were very satisfied.

I got this after getting fed up with my marcato ravioli tool which is really hard to use as pasta dough needs to be absolutely perfect , and imperfection in general turns your ravioli and bait into a gooey mass of dough and filling.
