Type of review

Revain incorrectly advertised this model (Razer Blade 15 2019 - RTX 2060) as having Windows Hello biometric security. This particular model is considered the 'base model' of the Razer Blade 15, which Razer says doesn't include the same webcam as the 'enhanced' models (although, oddly enough, there are still cutouts on the bezel for the requisite IR-sensors, giving it the appearance). , as if it were actually compatible with "Windows Hello"). In any case, if you bought this model and are going…

Worth every penny! on traditional laptops

I bought this laptop first (Intel Core i7-9750H 6 Core, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 15.6 inch FHD 144H) because I was looking for a powerful laptop at a really good one price searched price . Price. That's all. I originally bought it direct from Revain for $1399 but two days later it was further reduced to $1099 so I stuck with it. Luckily the first one hasn't been delivered yet and I was able to cancel. When you combine this laptop with Revain's 4-year warranty, it becomes arguably the best…

The best? The best.

After much research and weighing the pros and cons, I finally settled on a 15" Blade Base (with Ethernet) with a GTX 1660Ti. I needed something that was redundant as a desktop computer Replacement in the field Purpose: I work as a sound engineer in a film production and sometimes we have musical elements that require a serious workstation, about 20% of the time, but primarily it's about working with sound/audio in a professional environment Pros: - Technical characteristics I like a laptop that

Almost perfect, but too many compromises!

Amazing build quality! I got the base model with 2060/512 GB. The included 512GB drive is fast but not branded. I installed a Samsung 970 Pro which I highly recommend! Upgrading is a breeze as Razer puts everything on top when you detach the bottom. My MSI GS63 was a nightmare! Razer has been very attentive in the update department! Installing Linux was a breeze, I installed KDE Neon and it worked right away! Very very happy with this laptop! **UPDATE 7/20/19** So after a few weeks of using the

So much potential but not enough power

After Razer replaced my desktop with a decent gaming laptop, I had high hopes for it. Well I was overwhelmed and disappointed. It only works great as a laptop. The good screen, great keyboard layout and overall speed are just great. However, it fails in its main purpose, gaming. I only had trouble running games on medium graphics settings. After a while he has "micro stutters" and the keyboard clearly heats up. The first was repaired once by Razer but reappeared after I got it back (awaiting…

Its worth it! Layman's review

I'll start this off by stating that I won't be keeping this laptop for reasons beyond Razer's control, which I'll explain later. That's the beast from the car. with limitless customization options. For the layman looking for a workhorse to play, develop or build or switch ecosystems from IOS (since yours), this is probably the best contender. The aluminum body has a cool metallic sheen and isn't as black as the pictures show. Again, it's on par with the Mac Book Pro in terms of build quality…

Died in two weeks

I bought a computer for an out of town business trip. I used the device for about two weeks before the screen died. During those two weeks, the screen flickered and also showed a distorted image. After the screen went completely blank, I had no internet connection and couldn't connect for a few weeks. By the time I was able to reconnect to the internet, I was already outside of Amazon's "return window". I found out about this when I requested a refund from Revain and they refused to work with…
