🐶 Stylish Red Dingo Designer Martingale Dog Collar for Small Breeds Review

This is not a collar I would trust when walking the dog but is suitable for displaying brands. I only use martingale collars on my Italian Greyhounds but they are poor quality, flimsy with no sharp edges that are sharp where the nylon has been cut and melted together.

Excellent collar! This is a martingale, so it slides over the pet's head. Reading other people's comments I don't think they understand how martingale works. When installed correctly, the collar should slip over the pet's head immediately once it is completely straight. During use, the collar should tighten and not slip off the pet's head.

We wear a harness when we walk and I wanted a tag collar. This one works great and I don't have to worry about it snagging on anything because it can slide out if needed. It has a 13 inch neck and is fully adjustable. The pattern is cute and reflective, but it's not visible on the coat.

We only used this collar for a couple of weeks while our pup was at our breeder's. We chose him so that we can easily recognize him in the videos sent by the breeder. When we picked him up, we replaced the collar with one that we chose ourselves. This is for a puppy or small/miniature dog - our dog almost outgrew him at 8 weeks old (standard male Labradoodle) - so choose your size wisely.

This collar is great but when I ordered it I didn't realize it didn't have a clasp. It needs to be set up. I do not like it. 02/20/2014 Later I discovered the purpose of this collar. I adjusted it to fit snugly but fairly easily over my dog's head. When on a leash, the solid purple part acts as a choke collar. When she pulls back, it tightens more, and when she's relaxed, it weakens. This is actually a very good collar and I hope everyone who found my last review helpful sees it.

Used daily my very lucky dog. My dog likes to go for a walk. He gets used to wearing a collar. I needed a second collar because it's difficult to attach a leash to his everyday dog tag collar. I had to bend down and try to find the tiny ring on his collar as he squirmed with delight. I now leave the leash attached to this new collar. I just put it on his head and we go. He learned to stick his nose right into the noose. happy dog Happy owner. (uh, who belongs to whom here? :)

This is the best dog collar I have ever had. I usually buy the one that fits you like a watch. Where the collar has a hole for the dog's neck. This one doesn't have a hole, it goes around the dog's neck and you tighten it with a black buckle. This is a round piece. It is not divided like a normal collar. So when you put the collar on your dog, you don't have to tighten it like a normal collar. Because when you attach the leash, the collar tightens around the dog's neck and does not fall off…

My first impressions were not favorable when I received these designer collars. Two of my chocolate mini schnauzers previously had black collars with chains that discolored their necks. Their black collars were slightly heavier and thicker and seemed more durable than the Red Dingo designer martingale. However, Red Dingo's designer martingale is perfect. Collars are fashionable through and through. They do not stain my dogs neck and I would highly recommend these collars to anyone who has had a
