A good thing! in engine and oil

Good stuff! I have a high mileage 292 inline six. The knocking of the rod developed. Actually I bought the product to use in a recently rebuilt engine to replace one that is knocking. I decided to add it to the engine knock oil and the knock is barely audible. In addition, the engine runs much more smoothly. Haven't noticed any increase in fuel consumption. If I have time I will disassemble the engine. I wonder if the reason for the knocking is in the connecting rod bearings? When this is the…

Great zinc for additives

I add a bottle of this to every engine I build with a fresh camshaft, connecting rod or main bearings or new tappets/tappets. What it provides is extra zinc. Today's standard engine oils do not contain zinc, since zinc residues in the exhaust gas accumulate in catalytic converters and cause them to wear out quickly. But it is zinc that prevents the formation of scratches on rotating nodes. After running and fixing various defects, standard street car motor oils contain other additives that work

If you can't count and don't understand oil additives, keep going!

I've used it for a variety of purposes since the day it first came out. Regardless of what oil viscosity or API oil rating your vehicle requires, it can run from 0w16 to 15w40. I mostly use 5W30, 5W40 and 0W40 synthetic oils, regardless of what the manufacturer currently recommends since the CAFE Average Fuel Economy Tax Scheme was introduced in America!
