    Quality ok for the price.

The only issue I have with the bushings is that if you use 2 together they don't match exactly. They work well if you only need to use one. I used a layer of masking tape to tighten the fit. Otherwise they are much better than the plastic bushings and the price is right.

    Fairly decent for the price

Although it took 1 attempt to get the 3/4" deep bushings (the first set I got shipped was 1"), Revain was quick with the replacement. The set is pretty decent. I haven't experienced any real noticeable hesitation in using them on my old Milwaukee bench grinder. A previous attempt at using a - probably not so tight - nylon sleeve looked disturbing. Although these are off-brand items, they appear to be fairly well made.

The dimensions are not useful. metrics?

Assume 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" ID/OD sockets. Diameter 0.588", which is much closer to 15mm (0.590") than 5/8 " (0.625). Ditto for the OD of the same bushing, OD 0.786 inch, which is closer to 20 mm (0.787 inch) than 3/8 inch. 4 inches (.750). Aside from being incorrectly described as SAE/imperial unit measurements, the QC is underwhelming; They don't mate like higher quality jacks like the German made jacks in the GRND store, also sold here at Revain. twice the price but sometimes you get what you…

The nested fit is too loose for my purposes.

I've used socket kits in the past to fit wheels or pulleys to shafts in various projects, but I've never seen a kit this loose. I wanted to use them to mount a 1" hole diamond wheel onto a 1/2" mandrel shaft. The diamond wheel needs to turn very accurately, but those nested bushings had too much play for that. The video shows the game as I rocked the wheel on a .50 inch shaft. Maybe that's enough for someone's purposes, but not for me. Someone suggested putting a layer of tape between the…

Rounds a lot big and small, no work.

I bought these for a 6" bench grinder with a 1/2" arbor. Brief history: Around many large and small, without work. Long story: The 1/2" to 5/8" bushing wasn't slipping on the shaft so I checked the ID of the bushing (.475") and then the OD of the shaft (.500"). If you look at the photos, you will find that the ID and OD of all three parts are not compatible. Without slip fit tolerances, the dimensions are as follows (ID-OD): 1/2" to 5/8" is .475" to .631". 5/8 to 3/4 inch is 0.592 to 0.783…
