🚪 Liftmaster 973LM Garage Door Remote Opener - 2x 390mhz Replacements Review

Works great, set up in minutes. I had to use the instructions on the back of my opener (1999 Sears 1/2 HP with red learn button) which were different than the ones that came with the units. I was so pleased with their work that I got two more!

Cheap copy of the original. I tried changing the battery, I thought it was low (the LED was barely on), it was impossible to work with plastic tabs. Anyway new battery and I still can't program the LiftMaster garage door opener. I pressed the learn button and held down the 1st button, nothing. My old Clicker.com clicker worked like clockwork. Switching to a brand that seems to work for my garage door.

Delivery was slow but two replacement remotes (which come with batteries already installed) were programmed into my Liftmaster after several attempts. With my special engine, you press the red button, which then lights up continuously. I then pressed and held the remote button until the engine light started flashing and I heard a few "clicks" from the engine (clicks are key). Then the remote worked without any problems. The car wash lost my garage door opener so I went online to buy a replacement. I have an old (1992?) Craftsman opener and both of these remotes work better than the original Craftsman remotes! In total it took 10 seconds to program both remotes. I like the extra reach of these new consoles; I can click when I pull into the driveway and when I get into the garage, the garage door is open. It took a week for the post office to deliver the remote controls, which satisfied me.

This is terrible. They are very thin and cheap. Specifically, they don't work unless you're near a door and pointing the remote directly at it. I usually have to take mine off the visor to point it at the door for it to work. The visor worked fine on my old one. Typically, multiple button presses are required to raise or lower the door. The plastic is so flimsy that repeatedly pressing the button each time you use it will surely ensure that the device doesn't last long. I wouldn't buy them…

Don't waste your money on these bottle openers, they may be cheap but they won't last very long. I bought 2 sets of these openers, followed the instructions and installed both garage door openers. All four worked the first day, the second day 2 of them stopped working so we put them back on. The next day only one out of four worked and only one garage door worked, we rearranged everything again. We reset them at least 20 times and they can work 24 hours. We got home and couldn't open the garage
