🔧 Ridgid OEM Replacement Rip Guide Knob - Genuine Part # 202050001 Review

The installation guide supplied shows the spring and where to install it. The first package we received didn't arrive this spring. We made an exchange and the second package we received was also missing the spring. Therefore it is not a complete package that conforms to the installation instructions.

Leading edge doesn't quite fit holes - runs a lot. to fit it - had to top up to make it work - also used wd-40 to make it work. Gauge scale seems fine - just note these are not the recommended accessories in the instructions but REPLACE the Ridgid 7 1/4" Worm Drive Saw #32104 (yes I used customer service prior to purchase called by Ridgid of this article and this was recommended as the accessories offered in the original manual have been discontinued).

In my opinion the design flaw is the saw itself, not the fence. My fence arrived quickly and is strong and straight/see through. It fits freely in the saw hub because the hub is poorly designed, but the thumbscrew fits perfectly and holds the fence in place after installation and during use. I just use a small square to make sure it's straight, tighten and then cut. It's an extra, unnecessary step, but it cuts straighter than without a fence. I'm glad I bought this. This guide fits my saw perfectly and even includes a spare handle to attach it to my saw.
