🔌 SPST Rocker Switches - OFF (None) Position - Individual Piece Review

I took a chance it would fit my big old 1970's Craftsman Shop vacuum with bat handle (see the part number). The measurements seemed right to me, and to my relief, they fit perfectly - no cut wires or other nonsense. It installed in about 10 minutes - unscrew 4 screws to remove the top cover, pull out the old switch and insert the new one. Very glad I no longer have to plug and unplug the vacuum to turn it on and off!

The switch is no longer available on the physical switch according to manual part number 73682 or CarlingSwitch part number 0333. However, this part matched (after much searching) exactly the rating of the original CarlingSwitch. Incredibly easy exchange. Use a small screwdriver to pry the switch out, align the two wires, and reinsert it. The original switch was red, this one is black. Excellent choice to replace the toggle switch on my old 12 gallon shop vacuum. Did extensive research online to find a suitable switch with the correct amp/volt rating that exactly matches the factory switch. The factory switch was a plastic toggle switch that was broken off at the base of the toggle switch. This rocker style derailleur eliminates future breakage with its low profile.
