Fits my 2015 Canyon on chassis

Good product, matches the 2nd generation Colorado/Canyon. Be sure to align after installation, even if it's just banging your toe, it will rip your tires if they're not aligned properly. I wouldn't set this to 4x4 as that could put your CV axles in a quandary, but I don't see a problem with 2WD.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Upgrade: shock absorbers, struts and suspension

Works as it should. Bought a 2" lifter and leveled it pretty close. To warn people you have to use a spring compressor to add the 1" bushing. It includes a block for the top of the strut and a bushing that goes under the bottom ones Spring head on the strut goes. Other brands have a one piece 2" block that only fits at the top. It took several hours to complete. Allow 4-8 hours to be sure with a spring compressor.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Happy customer for shock absorbers struts and suspension

Im impressed with the delivery time it got here quickly. I order it on Friday and it shows up in my store on Wednesday. The difference is that they recommend the tire size, mine is 265-70-17 without the alignment kit and they don't rub. The correct tire size for this set is 285-70-17, just to help others with more information, the overall diameter is 32 inches. Installation is really easy, but be careful when removing the spring from the assembly. If you don't want to use a ring and 1" justโ€ฆ

Great product but difficult to install

This gave my 2016 Canyon (double cab, short bed, Duramax) a PERFECT lined look. Behind did nothing - regularly. In fact, the entire truck now looks a bit elevated. This is exactly what I was hoping for. This is NOT an easy setup (you will need spring compressors for example) but if you take your time and don't get frustrated you will be rewarded in the end. like the fact that if one day I decide to "lift" my truck, everything is completely reversible. Attention - not every front lift has thisโ€ฆ

  • Delivery was very quick

Install it yourself before the return deadline.

I measured my 2018 GMC Canyon at the edge of both front fenders over the tire and it was exactly 35 inches. I then raised the front to 37 inches to make sure it was level and perfect. After spending $450 installing it at a local store because I had just had surgery, I measured it and the left side was 36.25 inches and the right side was 35.75 inches, certainly not 37 inches. Due to circumstances at the install shop, I was unable to get the job done before the lift kit return deadline, so I'mโ€ฆ

Looks great - chassis

It's been a week since I installed the 2" kit on my Colorado and it looks much better. I don't have to worry about front clearance anymore because the bumper lip I love so much I didn't want to take it off for the next few months and I ended up making one. Update: Made one and it is needed. It took me 5 hours because I didn't have all the right tools and I was doing one side at a time. Tips: Use an impact wrench. for spring compression, a ratchet wrench for the top of the rack and a ratchetโ€ฆ

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not the best

Improves the position of the truck.

I love my GMC Canyon, but I didn't like the low front and high rear, which gives the truck an uneven look. During the day I parked in front of the city office, my front wheel pressed against the curb and the piece of plastic under the front bumper almost touched the sidewalk. I figured I'd rip this off a curb truck the other day, so I installed an alignment kit and added bigger tires. Wow what a difference. I increased the height by 3 inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear to give the truck

  • Absolutely amazing!

Awesome and easy to install

My buddy and I just installed this 2" leveling kit on my brand new 2016 Chevy Colorado Z-71 4-Door. I paid about $89 for the kit and it was pretty easy to install. The instructions were very well written and clear, along with photos. It took both of us 2 hours to install and we had no incidents. And we were lucky he had a garage lift to help. I had to rent a spring compressor from O-Reilly's car to disassemble the struts, but everything worked out fine. It remains to unscrew the bolts and nuts.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
