Bird Repeller - Building Materials

Product works well but is overpriced for what you get. I was surprised when I ordered four packs of 6 but there were only 5 in one pack. They were supposed to be 2 inches but I had to glue them to fit.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Easy to install and looks good

The original material of the grille that was installed behind the air vents in our home showed signs of animals trying to get through. I installed these air ducts in the summer. Some of the vents seemed tight, but in the middle of winter, some of those vents fell out. In spring I will attach them with a small amount of sealant to hold them in place.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll get back to you later

Did the trick in Soffit Vents

Only gave 3 stars for the fit (think that means how snug they are). Drilled a 2" hole in a 12 gauge drawer at the job site to vent the gas storage and they were a bit loose. The holes are exactly 2 inches so I figured they would fit tighter. No problem as I just wrapped tape around the flange. About 2 turns did the trick and they were nice and snug.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Yes it is suitable for attaching PVC pipes

We have recently installed high efficiency natural gas condensing stoves and they use PVC pipes for inlet and outlet instead of chimney ventilation. I was worried about wasps, critters etc so I wanted to keep them away. You have done a great job. The key was to install them with a flange on the inside and some clear silicone to stick on. They are ideal for 2" PVC elbows (i.e. not true 2" pipe). Turn the oven up (I have a two-tier setup) and they stayed in place. Recommend it for this app.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Drilling kit
