Works amazing! - Interior and exterior color

Honestly I was blown away by this product. As a high school teacher, I have a lot of experience with dry erase boards. Some wash very well, others not so much. It is not uncommon to dry erase a work and see a lot of dry erase marker residue. As a result, I was skeptical of how this dry erase ink would perform. It didn't disappoint! We used this on an old table in our basement so the kids and I could do math right on the table without wasting tons of paper. We also plan to use it for family…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • I really don't like anything about it, everything is fine

Less than half full of product after mixing

Before I start, let me just say that I purchased this product from Home Depot in August 2015 when I got back to the Chalkboard came and turned it into a dry erase board and it worked great. There were no problems and worked flawlessly for many years. (I carefully sanded and primed the boards beforehand and followed the instructions exactly). At that time I had no complaints. When I switched to a new class this year, I decided to do the same thing again. Followed the same process, sanded/primed…

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

This is a good product but does not cover 7' x 7'. Well, at least not very well. This will be a very thin layer, and a quart really only goes for a third. That's when the perspective matured. The best case scenario is that you end up with a solid 5x5 area. That means you apply one coat, let it dry for 24 hours (wrap the roller and mold in plastic to prevent drying out) and then apply a second one layer up. I recommend buying two of these. One is not enough and the layer is really thin. I used 2

Worked great for me!

After seeing mixed reviews on this product I thought I should give it a go. This worked PERFECTLY for me so I thought I'd share my experience and how I used the paint. I used this material to cover some canvas prints for friends to graffiti (temporarily). I tried using a roller (manufacturer's recommendation) but found it picked up too much paint and didn't leave a particularly smooth finish. Instead, I used a foam brush, an inexpensive disposable brush you can find at any hardware store; this…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Transform any wall into a dry erase board with this dry erase paint. There has been some feedback on the date and expiration date issues. I went to Home Depot to purchase so I could verify the date after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, the date on the box is not so easy to see. Each box at Home Depot had different labels, I couldn't figure out what the numbers meant in terms of actual expiration date, and it was more expensive. I purchased from Home Depot using the Revain app on my phone…

LOVE THIS PRODUCT on paint and primer

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I teach in an old building and I wanted to update my blackboards with whiteboards without spending a lot of money. When I discovered this product I was thrilled. I read all the reviews and watched videos on how to use the product correctly and successfully. I checked the date at the store and informed the folks at Home Depot that this set will expire in 1 year (the dyer had no idea and sold a lot of sets). I was a little apprehensive considering this product has a group of…

My experience worked - that's why.

After reading the reviews on this product, it was scary to use but I really wanted a dry erase wall. So I called Rust-Oleum customer service and asked them a series of questions based on the reviews I had read about Revain. Here's what I learned to get this product working.1. The number one reason for product failure is expired product. End of the story. This paint has a shelf life of only one year from the date of manufacture. To determine the date of manufacture, look at the number printed on

Pros
  • Stable test results

  • It was possible to upgrade to a newer model
