Very strong toxic odor

I'm not sure if this can be sewn onto a curtain with a regular sewing machine. The tape is made from a very hard and tough plastic and does not lie flat but is bent into the shape of the small box it came in. I ordered a fabric strap from another seller because it didn't fit me.

Pros
  • Transparent Slip Tape #9
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Don't expect to sew perfectly with it!

The strips are plastic and are fairly easy to sew BUT it is difficult to avoid the white tabs that hook onto the bar to help sew with the Help to stay on the plastic... It's not the fault of the straps but I thought I should mention that.

Pros
  • Sliding Tape (#9) 1/2 inch

Perfect for replacing

This product was perfect it was just what I needed to replace my broken clips on a used motorhome we purchased. I was so glad I was able to sew this, it didn't interfere with my machine needle or anything. A zipper foot was used and you could sew right around it without stopping. If you need to replace pop up curtains in your RV, get this.

Pros
  • For sewing onto curtains and for use with wall or ceiling tracks
Cons
  • Quality

Ideal for replacing curtains for a tent trailer!

We have just converted our tent trailer and used it to make new curtains. This stuff is AMAZING! It is very easy to sew on (use a zipper foot), durable and easy to install in a pendant. Highly recommend and personally think everyone should replace their trailer curtains because they are A) ugly and B) have so much dirt and dust in them. It couldn't be easier to use and install, highly recommend.

Pros
  • Use with A201 or A202 Ceiling or Wall Curtain Track
Cons
  • Working Speed

Fits exactly as it should

Our camper was made in 2001 and this tape matches the tape on our old curtains perfectly. We tried to reuse the old tape on the new curtains but it's 20 year old Clips were too fragile to stick back on track a second time. After receiving this replacement tape and sewing it on our new curtains work great with new clips.I didn't like how expensive it was but if you have a specific clip for a particular track system, you have to do what you have to do.

Pros
  • 72" slide
Cons
  • No instructions

Pain to sew staples!

Works on my 2011 Rockwood Premier. My problem is that it hurts terribly to sew it to my fabric. The needle goes through fine but the sewing machine foot has to go around and over the clamps going when they're up (and fastened) I have to manually raise the foot every time I get to the clamp and basically hand stitch them until I reach the other sides If they're just the width of the vinyl by maybe 1/2" it would be much quicker and easier to sew them on. It would take me a very long time to sew…

Pros
  • 1/2" Carriage Width
Cons
  • Not sure
