Very quick fight I know I'll lose that extra read speed if I don't put it in the m.2 slot closest to the CPU, but I wanted to prevent that it is thermally throttled and I chose to install it in the bottom m.2 slot of my m.2 slot which is on average 15 degrees colder.

Fastest M.2 drive. Surpasses 980Pro. I bought the 2TB version. It has a much faster write speed compared to 1TB. Sabrent develops and manufactures high quality solid state drives. The speed is more than 7300 reads and about 6600 writes when using Samsung Magician benchmarks. That's a solid 5 stars.

Bought the day it was available from Revain (I already had a WD SN850). We've been using it for 2 weeks now. First review: I chose the Samsung 980 Pro because I wanted 2TB. It's pretty fast, which is to be expected. Highly recommended! Update 03/01/2021: It's not going well at all. According to HWInfo64 I already have 94% lifespan on the drive that I'm only using for a few days in 3 months. For comparison, the 970 Pro that I replaced with this Sabrent drive has been used for over a year (as of August 2019) and still has 99% life remaining.
