I use LOTS of flash drives. This was the most disappointing Sandisk product I have ever used. I usually love extreme models, but for some reason they've gotten outrageously expensive for the same models I've been using for years. All recent products like this have been noticeably slower and while the build quality appears to be the same, they're dead to me. The latter died in a suitcase in transit a few months later. Nothing is recognizable. Properly stored, properly disposed of. Just out of…

I wish I loved it more

I bought this because I really like SanDisk products and I think they work well. Unfortunately, this product didn't quite meet the criteria I was looking for when purchasing a SanDisk product. So far everything is working fine. However, the plastic feels very brittle - I definitely wouldn't toss it in a bag without worrying about breaking it. Sometimes it's difficult to get into the computer - the plastic wants to slide over the metal part and it's hard to push through. snagging on objects when

Avoid all together. The USB stick has been defective since day one!

Purchased this device in 2018 based on The Wirecutter's recommendation for a high speed USB 3.0 USB flash drive. Usually their reviews and recommendations are well founded, but this is definitely not the case. Since I bought this USB drive, the write speeds have been mediocre at best. nothing at all agrees with what is said. I don't use this drive every day, but several times a week. So I don't think I used/abused it to the point where it started wearing out the flash memory. He's been writing…

Update: I recently purchased a SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB which performs the same as the Extreme Go in terms of speed. Buy one of these and stay away from this junk; it may be twice the price, but that's the true power and speed that says on the box of this "Go" product and others. Too bad about the name "Extreme". Alternatively, you can buy the Patriot Magnum/Magnum2 and they work just as well. ) and that's not only wrong, it's also false advertising. This item will not come close to what is…

You get what you pay for

Some reviews give low marks because the SanDisk Extreme Go is a continuation of a previous generation device that performed better. You're overlooking the fact that there are currently two different SanDisk Extreme memory keychains on sale: Go and Pro. The Opinion is fast enough to be branded "Extreme," even if it's not as extreme as the Pro device. I'll preface that I'm dissatisfied because I was in a hurry to make the purchase and only after the order shipped did I realize there were two…
