Excellent range

I recently bought a stationary belt sander and needed a good selection of grinding wheels. The price and variety was the best I've found so I decided to give it a try. So far I'm very happy with them. They stick well and the abrasive lasts as long as I expected. The price can certainly only rejoice!

Pros
  • Grinding wheels
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others

Paper backing difficult to peel off

Back pain removing backing paper due to lack of tongue. I need some strength to slide my nail between the sandpaper and backing paper. I wish they were labeled on the protective paper backing to indicate granularity. The abrasive works well and lasts a normal amount of time.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Doubtful

Pretty good paper - PSA discs

It's really good value for money, the discs I've used have held up really well. comparable to leading brands, even slightly better. I sanded the entire hood of a 1980 Lesabre (big car) with a disc and it still works, the condition of the original paint was disgusting to say the least, a few sheets were expected to be used on the hood only

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Reliability

Not for wet sanding

I can't find anywhere in the description that they aren't designed for wet sanding, but they definitely don't like water. Barely kept wet for 2 minutes. I can't say how well they dry. Although they appear to be of good quality. I just wish the description didn't say for wet grinding. Or maybe I overlooked?

Pros
  • Power Sander Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • There are problems

Peel and paste? Not very long!

Good quality washers. Long lasting once they stick to your plate. I had to buy spray adhesive to finally get the pads to stay on the steel surface. Yes I used acetone, paint thinner, mineral spirits, tulene and every other chemical known to man to clean the metal first before putting the discs in and came back the next day with the pad slipped off the plate. Every time! I bought 3M spray adhesive and applied it to the disc and plate, voila, success. It's still connected and working fine. Forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Power tool finishing parts and accessories
Cons
  • Nothing
