Replaced broken mirrors in less than 5 minutes

Very easy to replace. I thought about buying the whole mirror assembly and then I realized that maybe I could just buy the glass. I did and it was the best choice ever.

Product not as described

According to the product description it fits a 2005 Chevy Silverado but it is not. The plastic base plate on the back of the supplied mirror is different from the standard plate and the mirror will not snap into the mirror housing.

Didn't fit my 2004 Chevy Silverado due to clips

The clips are not long enough to attach to the bracket. Otherwise it looks good. i will return it The image of the clips comes closest to the original. You can see the difference in them.

It could work. But maybe not.

It should snap into place. It's not like this. I separate the glass from the plastic, throw away the plastic, and then glue the new glass into the old plastic. It doesn't matter what the instructions say. Although the shape is correct for my year and model, there were no mounting tabs.

INSUFFICIENT PRODUCT NOT COMPATIBLE

Not compatible! It didn't quite fit my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup with factory side mirrors. I tried to modify it like others but was unsuccessful and when I tried to put it on the plastic tabs it just broke rendering it unusable. Just to make it usable you'll need to cut off some of the center plastic tabs to fit snug enough to snap into place. My suggestion is to buy an OEM or find a good one at a junkyard. I rarely write reviews but just want to warn others who are considering it, think…

It was sort of a make it work mirror.

Just bought a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with a cracked mirror. I took mine off to compare to what was sold and it turns out many don't have tabs long enough to click on. I took the side scissors and removed the tabs in the center of the new mirror and also removed the two small pieces connecting the old mirror to the center mounting post. Bought plastic to JB plastic for welding and glued a new mirror to the triple grip remote leaving a round hole at the top. Using a long, thin screwdriver…
