Don't expect them to fit.

I don't understand how they fit any speaker from 6.5 to 6.75, only 5.0 inch internal horn spacing, 6.25 inch outer diameter. The speakers are 6.5 and protrude about 3/4 inch above the surface they are to be mounted on. I'll try to sand down any inner tabs and see if they can be used. They are cheap and come with no instructions or screws. Beware. Update Date: I was able to adjust them to fit. I snapped out any internal protrusions and smoothed them out with a dremelin. Use small nuts and bolts…

Great Time Saver Best in Automotive and Automotive Electronics

They seem to get a bad rap from people who just don't realize they work with different speaker sizes and may need some modifications in different applications. If you are using 6" speakers, mount them to the adapter using the internal mounting pads. If you are using 6 1/2 inch speakers you will need to remove the internal mounting pads with a dermel or other tool so they don't get in the way. I've seen reviews of these two adapters and various columns saying these adapters don't work. I…

Fits my 2008 Tahoe yes and no

I am replacing the standard speakers in my 2008 Tahoe with JBL GTO629 Premium 6.5" coaxial speakers. The speakers were advertised as fitting my make and model and they would fit if I just wanted to use sheet metal screws to attach them to the door panel. But in order to install them correctly, I quickly realized that I needed an adapter. The problem with the SCOSCHE SAGMHR634B 2007-2015 Select GM 6.5" or 6.75" speaker adapter is not that the product doesn't fit, but that in turn it doesn't fit…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Fits

These speaker mounts are absolute junk. They were made out of cheap and flimsy, poor quality plastic. Overall, they cannot be compared to other speaker mounts like the Metra brand mounts. Between the two, these Metra blocks are made of MUCH thicker plastic, which makes a huge difference in their construction. Other brands don't have such thin plastic. I couldn't tighten the speaker well as the material started to sag. I also found the Scosche brand brackets to be such a crappy design that when…
