Don't waste your money when you can have a Metra made for a few bucks less, the difference is huge in every way.

These speaker mounts are absolute junk. They were made out of cheap and flimsy, poor quality plastic. Overall, they cannot be compared to other speaker mounts like the Metra brand mounts. Between the two, these Metra blocks are made of MUCH thicker plastic, which makes a huge difference in their construction. Other brands don't have such thin plastic. I couldn't tighten the speaker well as the material started to sag. I also found the Scosche brand brackets to be such a crappy design that when I added the top screw to hold the speaker in place, the top bracket on the speaker bracket broke, wasn't removed, just broke and no longer held the speaker fit. So I ordered the Metra mounts. I realized I was too strong in the first pair. As soon as these Metra mounts came out, I became a huge fan of them. I wasn't that strong with the Scosche units, they were weak. Metra mounts are legit, grab a set and see for yourself. With the Metra mounts you can actually turn the screws on these Metra mounts and they hold up well, very well. Don't buy these Scosche bindings, you will be disappointed. The counter is mounted. Buy them, they make your setup easier and they sound better when the speakers are securely mounted in a bracket with plenty of mass behind them and transfer sound more efficiently. That's a joke compared to Metra brand speaker mounts.

Pros
  • Speaker mount
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
