CREATE SOCIAL DISTANCING MARKINGS: Create box or “X” queues for waiting areas or make lanes in aisles in a fast, easy, and efficient way – whether it’s short- or long-term use. Tape Application Tips: For great paint results make sure the surface is clean, dry and dust-free so that the tape sticks properly. Next, apply the tape onto the surface while pressing down firmly as you go. And lastly, let the tape set for about 30 to 60 minutes before painting. Tape Removal Tips: Wait until the paint is dry to the touch before removing the tape. Lift the tape up by slowly pulling it back on itself, then removing at a 45-degree angle.

Holds strong and removes easily

Originally bought to paint I have used it for many other purposes. The beauty of this tape is that it stays in place but is easy to remove when no longer needed. This is the perfect helper when gluing. It can hold items together until the glue dries and can then be removed without leaving a mark showing where the tape was used. Works great if you're very careful.

Works great if you lay it straight and tight very carefully. This one is a little too narrow for the door frame and window sill, so I still had to go to the store to buy a wider tape. It takes a while to put down, but when you're done it folds up quickly and easily and doesn't drag anything. Again, take your time to make sure it's completely secure or the paint will bleed under the tape. It helps if you use a roller instead of a very wet brush. Blue Tape Goes With So Many Things

This is the usual high quality for this excellent 3M tape. Different widths make sense here - for example strips of different widths or narrow or wide strips. or gaps that need to be covered. I mainly use 1" band (which is actually 0.94" wide). Sometimes this narrower band is ideal. I prefer this blue tape over the original brown masking tape because the blue tape bleeds less and is easier to remove long after it has had to be removed.
