Worst HDMI KVM ever

Look at the picture. This is a real product in its natural habitat. It's such a bad design that HDMI host connectors don't behave electrically like HDMI when you unplug them. And when you switch, it's electrically cruel to keep crashing some hosts. Never buy this if you care about your systems in the slightest, or even need a working KVM switch at all. This product only contributes to the disposal weight.

Pros
  • resolution support up to 4K 30Hz YUV444 8bit. Supports HDMI1.4b and HDCP2.2. With mounting ears. Note. Make sure the mouse accuracy is less than 2000 dpi. Keyboard with volume up/down and pause keys.

Works well with Linux 5.x

I've tried several other USB KVM switches but they all failed to register with the Linux 5.x USB stack. All I got was "Error -11" reading device descriptors. This switch, on the other hand, works perfectly. If you've had trouble with other switches in the past, try this one. That is, instead of emulating ghost devices (USB keyboard, mouse, and monitor), it simulates disconnecting and reconnecting devices to different computers. When switching from my laptop to desktop, the laptop resizes the…

Pros
  • HDMI KVM Switch supports pushbutton switch, hotkey switch (only works for Windows) and auto-scan switch (interval time greater than 1). Support hot-plugging, connecting or disconnecting devices to the KVM switch at any time without disconnecting devices.

Make the Difference: KVM Switches

I have two of these switches and they both work fine. I didn't notice any lag or ghosting, but I don't use connected computers for videos, gaming, etc. It would be nice if they came with sticky rubber feet. The metal case slips if you don't use the included mounts.

Pros
  • Access and control 4 HDMI computers with 1 set of USB keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Cons
  • old

Excellent HDMI Switch

We needed to replace the VGA with HDMI in our conference room and needed a KVM that was reliable and good looking. We chose E-SDS and were satisfied. The only downside is that the buttons are a little hard to see, but a drop of colored nail polish solved that problem. Shifts clean and the signal resyncs quickly.

Pros
  • Supports Windows95/98/2000/2006/NT/XP/WIN7/8/10, Linux Unix, OSS. Partial Mac support (does not support hotkey switching when using Mac).
Cons
  • Not sure

Suitable for computers and accessories

I've had this KVM for a few months and it's difficult to reset it once or twice a week, it just doesn't work anymore. I only use 3 computers, now I'm looking for something more reliable

Pros
  • 4-port KVM allows immediate use of keyboard and mouse after switching host devices.
