I put this into an existing build; The old power supply shut down the computer twice in a month without warning, so I figured it would be best to replace it. I already had a replacement part but it wasn't modular so I looked for at least a semi-modular one and found this one. Great reviews, great price, what's not to like? Arrived today, everything looks fine. He took out the old power supply, plugged it in and flipped the switch. The light comes on for a split second, then everything goes out.

I'm about to return my second new Seasonic in a month. The first was the Focus Gold 550w. The second version of the 750w. Both have a very big problem out of the box. Everything is going well, the rails readings look good under load and the fan doesn't really kick in.
