delivery on time best in Ignition Parts

These were the correct items for a 1958 Johnson Lark 35hp engine. promise to buy them again, but 50 years can be a long time before glasses are needed again.

Good Points for Ignition Parts

These are better quality than Johnson/Evinrude points. I just installed a new set of Johnson/Evinrude points on my 5.5hp Evinrude model. 1957 and they didn't agree and the points didn't agree. I could bend metal with my thumb. I removed them and installed Sierra Dots. These Sierra goggles aren't made of a thicker material, but at least they fit and fit.

Good buy for me for Ignition Parts

I haven't run it but installed this kit on my 1957 Evinrude Fastwin 18HP and it all matched the existing parts although we suspect the coils were replaced , so maybe glasses too? Anyway, the quality seems good, nothing out of spec. Be very careful with the two types of small clips provided (as you will need to assemble the pieces, the kit does not come assembled) as they can grow very far if you are not careful. Oh, and you'll need to use existing screws if possible or get new ones, mount…

Pros
  • Tuning Kits
Cons
  • So far so good
