🧼 Silblade Uni UB126 Hybrid Silicone Wiper Blade, 26 inch, Single-Pack Review

My last pair lasted 3 years which is great for parking under a tree. The new pair was easy to install, wiped the rain well, and ran silently. The company recommends cleaning your windshield as the sheets age. I did this and it worked for several weeks. . then I replaced and couldn't be happier. Of course, the Bosch Icon is also available in a slightly larger size and lasts about two years. Or buy Silblade cheaper and get many more years.

They've been advertising for years, not months. In my experience, that is simply not the case. The blade may retain its sharpness, but one blade has broken in less than a year and the replacement I ordered started stuttering and not making proper contact with the vib shield in less than six months. If you need to replace blades every few months, you can also buy cheaper blades that are designed that way.

They just don't last long. They were good for my car for about 10 months and now they graze all the time. I made sure the blades are completely clean and free of debris and still have streaks. They also make a lot of noise. So much for their years of durability as I am on my second set after the first only lasted 2 years. This will be my last sentence as I'm looking for other blades that don't keep slipping. Buyer warning!

I bought this and the 26 inch for the driver's side. For some strange reason the adapter broke so I sent it back. I got it replaced within a few days! The construction is solid and the only problem was figuring out how to install it on my Volvo XC90. The instructions could be a little better, so there is only one star deduction, but the product itself is very well made. Super smooth and fits the windshield better than the most popular rubber version I've had. Very happy.

I have been using Silblades for many years. Replaced the Bosch wiper blades (not cleaned) on my current car, on them in August 2019, today I went to the wipers and there was a piece dangling on this one which is on the passenger side. They store something under the hood so they aren't fully exposed to UV rays. I work in a large auto parts store. These blades are junk. They worked fine for the first week. Nothing more impressive. The water was drawn back onto the windshield. The exact opposite of what wipers are supposed to do. I don't even know if they are really silicone or not. And don't get me started with the connection.
