I'm new to machine embroidery so didn't want to spend a lot on thread but still wanted to be able to make lots of different colors. This set completely filled that need! The thread is of high quality, I had no problems with it on my typewriter. I would recommend this set to anyone looking for quality yarn and a variety of colors at an entry level price.

Simthread is my favorite thread. This is a great way to stock up on some colors that I didn't have in blue and green. The new improved spools now have a way to lock the end of the thread to prevent unraveling as you can see in my second drawing. (The old spool has a thread guard to hold the end.) Purchased Simthread based on sewing group recommendations on Facebook. No regret! This filament has beautiful colors and works great on my brother's pe800 machine. We strongly recommend that you only take one large box as you will need all the colors.
