Bought several lengths to add battery cut off to the camper. Extremely flexible and easy to avoid obstacles. High quality product; well done. Easily justifies the price for this quality.
Pros
Easy to use
Cons
I have no real complaints about it, everything is fine
Fairly thick 4g wire, solid insulation and good gauge ring connectors. It's my fault for getting a 3/8 socket that was too big, but that's entirely my fault. It fits the size and a good ground wire.
I ordered this and built something out of impatient delivery, now I'm too lazy to fit the correct cable as the end seal I put on in a hurry is already pretty strong but the cable looks well made out, and the conclusions don't seem to come easily with painful vacillations.
I purchased this item to replace the factory alternator to battery cable on my VW Jetta TDI MK4. The original cable was corroded, causing the fuse to overheat. Crate. That melts the fuse box and shuts down the car. Installation was pretty easy. I just split the factory cable after taking it off. Then a newly cut loom was used to fix everything. The only change I want to make is a 5 foot cable with 1/4" and 5/16" ends. The generator uses a 5/16 end. The fuse panel works best with a 1/4" end. But
Ends not heat shrinking as expected at cost. I had to replace a 1/4" ferrule to fit my 3G generator and found that the ends were not heat shrinkable with an adhesive seal like other cables I have previously made in a larger size (2Ga) bought from another seller. I was expecting this short length to be closer to $9-10 when it arrived and not the $12+ I paid. This cable is NOT weather and corrosion resistant as designed. I would really give this one 3.5 stars if possible due to the cost making it
